Emili Sindlev

Long locks and bushy brows require extra TLC. Read on to find out how the blogger and influencer cares for her signature tresses.

 Describe your skin care routine.

I wash my face each morning with lukewarm water and a washcloth, and moisturise with Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentré, which I apply directly after my shower and before I do my make-up. I cleanse at night with Bioderma and use facial oil from Tromborg a couple of times a week.

How do you take care of your hair?

My hair is really long but I have it cut every three months. It’s a must to keep it healthy and full of volume despite its length. I get it cut at Suka on Christian IX’s Gade in Copenhagen.

What are your go-to hair products?

I don’t really use styling products but am a fan of Oi Oil from Davines in wet hair. If my hair feels a bit dull and limp I’ll use Oribe Texturizing Spray.

Describe your make-up routine.

I apply a fine layer of loose mineral foundation on top of my day cream, and for glow and shine I brush on a baked mother-of-pearl mineral powder, both from Tromborg. Afterwards, I groom my brows. Mine are naturally dark and dense so need fixing in place. Brow Fix from Tromborg and Brow Drama from Maybelline are favourites. If I want a natural base with more coverage, I’ll mix liquid foundation from Chanel into my day cream.

What’s your best make-up tip?

Keep it simple and natural, and remember that a good mineral foundation can work wonders. I use lip balm throughout the day for a natural but shiny make-up-like effect.

Which nail polish shades will you be wearing this season?

Most definitely all the colours of the rainbow. I love colour and pattern, so nail polish is an important tool for me. Which colour I wear depends on my mood and what I’m wearing.

What do you smell of?

I have quite a few perfumes but 3 L’Impératrice from D&G is my signature scent. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it.

Which body care products do you use?

I’ve always been a fan of body oils and creams. I currently use oil from L’Occitane and body lotion from Tromborg.
